A note posted in the Wayfarer; the parchment is fine, clean and white, placed in an easily visible position among the other notices. Notes with the same message are posted in the Vesper Landing General Store and Ralbon's in the Dale, but the parchment is different; it looks to have been torn from a book. The writing on all is small, to fit the entire long message, and the hand a bit shaky, though readable.
I have recently lost a great many possessions in the wilderness. I have recovered most of the essentials, but I have, out of necessity, left many things lying on the ground which were subsequently taken from the site (twenty paces Northwest of the Old South Bridge along the road to Vesper), and I have nothing in terms of my supplies of healing potions and herbal supplies; as well as a raven- and falcon-feather quill, a journal (( "A Letter on Fine Parchment" and a Leatherbound Journal item constitute the journal )), and other various items, such as traps, a belt-knife, a red-painted wooden shield, and so on. All of these things are replaceable, but there are several which are not: two rapiers, one silver and the other gold; and the most important of which, a bow, stained dark everywhere other than the handle, which is pale, with spike-like decorations projecting outwards on either end of the handle. Few but a woodsman would know how to wield it properly.

The bow is the thing above all others that I am looking for, and if anyone has seen it or someone who is in possession of it, please come to me, Corvus. I will be around the Dale for the most part, though I am also actively looking for this bow, and if anyone has information that can be of help in my search, I urge them to come forward; especially considering that as I am searching for the bow myself, I will track down the person who picked it up sooner or later.

If you know where the other lost possessions might be, particularly the rapiers and the journal, help would be greatly appreciated in that area.
(( I can't stand not having a novel-esque beginning to this, but I'm in a huge hurry to get this out while I can. Maybe I'll edit it later. As for the bow, the only part of the description I couldn't include IC was the name, Silent Hunter. ))

Re: Lost Possessions
Standing in the Wayfarer, Chelie noticed the diminutive form of Tolwyn in her black robe stood by the notice board. Moving a little closer, she saw the note pinned to the board and smiled sadly. Sensing a presence at her shoulder, Tolwyn turned, tears in her eyes as she regarded the young tavern maiden.
Chelie looked into Tolwyn's eyes and saw sadness buried deep within. "It seems the bow is what he's most interested in", she said, her words almost lost under the general humdrum noise of the tavern.
Tolwyn nodded, her eyes cast down. "'twas a gift" she managed as the tears fell to the dusty floor. "He had only had it but 3 days..."
Chelie watched, slightly bemused as the young woman turned quickly on her heel and made for the door, before returning her gaze to the noticeboard once again.
