I came to this server becource it was a new rp server.<br>
I wanted to be with it from the start and one of the reasons for that is to help making it like I want it to be. I know I can´t change the world or the Main Idé about the server and I don´t want to. I like the Vast as it is, but I think it can be better.<br>
I like to play here with the players who are on the server and I like to help new players.<br>
I want to help making this a better server, a place where we all like to be.<br>

We all just need to remember that the DMs are the gods.<br>

A lot of talk from me, huh. So please get to the point, Apollo. I have seen a lot of post here that the XP reward is not good enough, that dying so often is no fun, that it’s to hard to play (insert any class here) and there is not enough DMs on.<br>
The XP reward will only be, as Algernon and Taraxa want it to be. Very little reward from combats, a lot of reward from role-playing. That is how it’s going to be, because that is what they want for the world they created. A high role-playing community with no players that harvest XP from fighting all the time. Again, if you don’t understand or like that, do you really think you belong here on this server. There are plenty of servers out there, which offer high rewards for combat. Go check them out.<br>
About dying….yes, this server is way rough to survive in. The server also stands for realism. That means, that when you are fighting foes that have a sword or even just a knife, that means that you can end at the sharp edge of that, and die. Nobody never dies, or just come back from the death all the time were would the fear from fighting be. We are talking about realism here. I’m sure that AG and Taraxa would want you to be scared as hell before walking out and fight.<br>
About playing a wizard, sorcerer or whatever you prefer and you think they are way to hard to play, I believe it’s because you think the game as being a Computer games, not the board game. It is also way hard to play those classes in a real pen and paper, and remember that is what I believe this server is (just a visual one).<br>

gods, how many chars did i frag over the 3 or so years that i played a mix breed of Gygax D&D and (then) 1st ed AD&D with a DM who taught school in cleveland, a bright college student, 2 dorky high schoolers (hmm, one of them was who?) and a rather large truck driver named "tim". we played, badly. usally lossing the party to various screw ups on our own (1/2 the party in a pit, the on druid NOT in the pit reachs down to cast CLW "jump and slap my hand!" or the great DBFB-in-a-1-door-room-with-a-party-highest-str-9 run of misfortune. it sucked. we made countless charators...and filled ourr groo log with VOLUMES of countless quotes and miscommunications. absolutly funny poop!<br>

i like this server simply because i sort of have that feeling of the groo log and comaraterry (i've given up on spellcheck, im too old and stupid) that i miss from gaming. i had it when i played battletech religiously back in Virginia but i dont have that now ability now, other than my wweekly games at the comic store....so i hang out here and annoy the crap outta ya!<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rollin --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>

an just like in the military, where it's uncool to fuss about the folks that delivery your mail, stock the ship's gedunk machines with munchies or keeps your email functional, you dont poke or prode the DM....unless you know it's dead or you like dangerous dances with badgers...<br>
