Letters to the Sunite Temple Amnian Diocese

Post by L3 »

Dear High Mistress of Revels,

May She lead you and all of us ever in the path of true beauty.

I write to inform you of the diabolical ugliness that indeed has become a blemish of foul proportions on the beauty of this otherwise pastoral frontier village's graveyard.

The yard itself seems well kept with the groundskeeper regularly making the point to bury the recently deceased so they may find their final beauty rest. It is the crypt that most troubles me.

As I write this letter I reflect on the troubling incident yester-eve as I went inot the cryopt to once more banish some portion of the ugliness therein back to the abyss it came from and set at rest those unfortunates it has taken for tools. I also strove to investigate for myself some of the matters I have been spoken to of.

Before I left my ears had been assaulted by three unseen voices, one a male and malevolent, another heartless and that of a woman, the third a tortured cry from some unseen male spirit. I had been knocked from my feet by the quaking of the ground and my armor hair and flesh singed by nearness to flame and spattered with gore and bone fragments from odd fleshy explosions of the ground.

As I write this I have not yet attended to my sacred duty to restore my appearance to its own. I will soon attend to this sacred duty but wished to finish this letter while the events were clear in my mind. As always I ask for your prayers for the success of my endeavors in Her service and my prayers go with you and the Heartwarders at the temple.

I have discovered the water from the frequent rains here is wonderful for washing hair and the moisure in the air discourages dry skin. I hope soon to approach the authorities in the region with a proposal for a temple to the Lady. Her influence is needed here direly.

Her servant and yours,
Vincienzo Duncastle

P.S. Please pass on my regards to the heartwarder, Silza Feryen, along with my regrets that my departure was by necessity so hasty.
