Mining Expedition!

I, Vincent of the Crimson Company, am hereby organizing a Mining Expedition into The Quarry mine northwest of the Dale in search of rare gemstones. It is my hope that this advertisement will alert some strong and able guards and miners to assist me in this task.

This is dangerous Orc Country, so beware...

Date/Time: I am looking at Friday the 20th at 8:30 pm EST. I want to start this sooner than my other trips, but I am not against pushing it back to 9pm if neccessary. Just let me know if you need the extra time.

Location: We will meet and leave at the Dragon Dale well yard. Late-comers can be picked up at the last homestead or even that abandoned house.

These pre-planned trips on the forum seem to be the most effective way of organizing folks to do stuff these days... however do I have to be the only doing them? *cough*

I'll probably be able to go with Lyrian. She doesn't mind being on guard while the brute miners do their thing.

Count Rory in as well. My schedule should be clear, but I won't know for sure until the middle of the week.

Hmm... will this happen with this crazy "Ivos Walder" thing going on?

i will make an effort to try an attend... I have early evening plans that should end about 7-730.. hopefully..

(( I know she doesn't bring much to the fight so it wouldn't bother me if she's the first bumped if the list fills up. She can just work on a large pot of venison stew for when the party returns ))

I actualy don't know. I'm sitting on a real fence here, fourantely its not one with those sharp spikes at the top.

As of 7 pm est, the server still has those bogus dudes.

We currently would have something around a party of 4 or 5 folks. Enough for this I think. Enough for maybie even double spawns (Although the clock is still fine).

Really our only concern would be server bugs. Something that we can not fight against with spear and spell!

Personally, I think we should go ahead with it. (Wish we had more time to discuss this out though)
But everyone feels uneasy about this server strangeness, myself included.
Because there IS no pressing need to do this tonight, we can push it back to Friday. Although if you guys argue strongly enough I will cave in to your demands and still do this tonight.

I don't mind letting it to next friday. I think it's wiser than trying our luck with this strange situation.

Clover's been gathering supplies and provisions for the trip. Hope to be available on time.. If not, she knows where it is.. just leave her a note on the board in the Hall.

I can't make it tonight, but I may log on a bit later to see if any stragglers are still around.

(my computer finally seems to be fixed...I've reinstalled windows & nwn - so I'm hoping to be around now)

I have company in the evening, so likely can't make the event - but I may be able to make it later as well.
