Brothers and Sisters of Dragon Dale,
In light of the coming battle to keep safe all that is good in Dragon Dale, and twart the onslaught of evil, I propose the forming of a council. This Council will discuss strategies and appoint leaders of battle, to defend the town.
All are welcome to attend but a select few will be appointed to positional seats. If you are interested in this idea, please give me gesture of your interest. The time is approaching, so those who wish to be a part must be of open mind and willing to comprimise. We have not time for quarrels, nor opinions based on the likes and dislikes of our peers. I ask you, young and old, man and woman, to take this opportunity to answer the call of good. To do what is right, and honorable. And fight to protect what many of us call home. On the horizon awaits a great battle, and we must be ready for it.

My humble thanks,
Hernes leaned back as he read the note and stretched. Appearantly something afoot and as usual, he was out of the loop. Considering for a moment, he set off to find this Trent to offer logistical and support services.
There would be many wounded and his skills would be of obvious use.
Re: A note on the wall of the Wayfarer
Perado reads over the note twice, remembering her conversation with Corvus, Mala, Tiruva, and Gideon. The words of the note and their implications momentarilly trigger old memories of hin farmers, fishers, and trademen alike on the commons. Their shirts off, putting themselves through exercises with sword, axe, and pike all under the direction of the Arvoreen priests. The old proverb, "Vigilance against attack will protect the community. Prepare an active defense, drill continuously, and leave nothing to chance. Put down danger before allowing it a chance to rear its head," rings between her ears.
Fingering the grip to her mace she wonders, "What can I offer?"

Someday you'll die, and that is a shame
But somewhere in the between was a life of which we all dream
And nothing and no one will ever take that away"
